Is Making Money Online a Sin?
Let’s be clear—money itself is not the problem. Building a successful reselling business, promoting a course, or even working within network marketing can be totally legitimate. But when chasing money becomes the only motive, that’s when things go off track.
“The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.” — 1 Timothy 6:10
Your why matters more than your wallet. Are you helping someone? Solving a problem? Or just flipping dollar signs with no soul?
How to Spot the Love of Money in Your Business
Here are some signs your business might be leaning into the wrong motivation:

You’re choosing products based on commissions—not value.

You promote “opportunities” that lack real, duplicatable results.

You’re constantly looking for the next quick-hit strategy without considering long-term impact.

It’s worth asking yourself honestly: Is my business truly serving others—or just serving me?
Faith, Family, and Financial Freedom Can Co-Exist
As a faith-driven entrepreneur, remember: God will provide. That doesn’t mean don’t work—it means don’t worry. Build wisely, ethically, and with the belief that your breakthrough doesn’t have to come at the cost of your conscience.
Look at your high-ticket offers, your affiliate programs, your coaching—are they worth the price you’re charging? Could a beginner really succeed with what you’re offering?
